Review:
Give a big round of applause to Carrie Jones, for ending an amazing series in one last final bang! The gang is back and better than ever in Endure, and it's the ending you don't want to miss! I loved Endure and I can't wait to see if we ever see these wonderful characters ever again! :)
Cover:
Okay, so at first the cover creeped me out a little... Or maybe a lot... The eye was just weird! Once I got used to it, I started to slowly love it! It matches all the other covers and the gold eye is pretty freakin' cool! :)
Plot/Writing:
The story seemed to drag a little in parts. It tended to be in the parts where they had some down time and were just plotting, which was fine! Just liven it up a little! Other than that, the writing was exceptional. You have seen Carrie grow so much over the years as she has written the Need series. There is no exception in this book, everything is detailed and you can picture everything in your mind!
Characters:
Zara, oh, Zara. Okay so she's a pixie in this one, which makes you feel like, "FINALLY! WE CAN STOP THE IDENTITY CRISIS!" She is finally happy and has everything she ever wanted. Except the fact that her biological father is trying to kill her, which kinda sucks. Zara is still the same strong girl we have come to know and love, and maybe a little less passive!
Nick.. (She says with a growl in her voice) I used to love Nick! Now he has douchebaggery running through his veins and is just plain rude in this book. Of course I'm still Team Nick, but he pissed me off. I used to love the nice, caring, protective Nick. Now we have an over-protective, mean, and rude Nick, which is totally not cool!
All in All:
I really did love this book! It was worth it to read, and to enjoy. If you haven't read the Need series, then you definitely need too, it will send you on one heck of an emotional roller coaster! 4 out of 5 tacos!
not my type of book ... but i'm happy you enjoy it ... thanks for sharing and great review :)
